Getting Started
To get started with your Awaretech Hidden AC Adapter, begin by using the included suction cup to remove the outwards-facing plate of the unit. Adjust the tilt of the camera as preferred, and insert your SD card in the visible lower-left slot if you want to record motion-detection triggered videos. When connected to the power point for the first time, press and hold the small power button to the left of the camera for 5 seconds, and the camera will begin to activate and produce a signal after 40-60 seconds making the device ready for direct connection. Access your Wi-Fi via your phone settings and connect to the BLINK-xxxx network that appears and aligns with the number on the base of your product, entering the password found in the user manual to access. Once connected, download and access the IoT Living app where you can select the + button in the top right corner and follow the prompts to pair the device with your phone. From here you can access the settings to enable remote viewing, motion detection alerts, recording and more.

Q: What happens when the storage is full?
A: If the storage is full, the loop recording option will allow the oldest footage to be overwritten by the new footage.
Q: What recording options are available with the Hidden Camera AC Adapter?
A: There are 3 options available:
1. Motion recording - this records when the camera senses any motion. Motion recording and Alarm Config need to be activated in settings for this function to work.
2. All day recording - this records footage all day.

A: No, the Hidden Camera AC Adapter comes with international adaptors and can be used on all networks globally.
Q: What is the best position for the adapter?
A: You can capture everything from a low vantage point, as the camera is angled 15 degrees vertically upwards. This will capture the full body frame of a person 6 feet tall or under.
Q: Does it record Video AND Audio?
A: Yes! The device is designed for both video and audio recording but is defaulted to only record video. In order to record audio, navigate to ‘About IOTLiving’ and click the icon six times.
Q: Can the device record horizontal and vertical?
A: The device can record both horizontal or vertical video by accessing the device via the IoT Living App and rotate the camera digitally.
